Public education is the cornerstone of an inclusive, strong democracy.
Education Future Fund is a community of funders who believe that public schools are essential to our success as a country: they prepare students to find meaningful work for our economy, engage in our civic process, and chart their own course as fulfilled citizens. While we focus on improving different aspects of teaching and learning, we are all working to ensure our public education systems work for each student and prepare them for the economy and society they will lead in the 21st century.
The politicized attacks on inclusive education – such as book bans and intimidation laws prohibiting authentic and truthful history, and age-appropriate curriculum that mentions race, gender, or gender identity – have harmful consequences for students, schools, and communities.
